Established in 2017, the non-profit Immigrant Development Organization is devoted to the advancement of individuals and their families towards reduced inequality and a prosperous society at home in Canada and abroad.

It started with the Business Training Program created to answer the needs of immigrant women of varied educational backgrounds to generate income.

The Mesa de Mujeres initiative with the Colombia Nos Une program from the Colombian Consulate in Toronto was built to support women, historically the primary breadwinners in Latin American households.
